Sylvie Boulanger has more than 25 years of experience developing construction markets, engineering knowledge and people. She earned her bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Alberta, a master’s degree in structures from the University of California (Berkeley) and a Ph.D. in steel construction from EPFL (Switzerland). She was Quebec Regional Manager for the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) and Vice President, Technical Marketing for Supermétal Structures inc. She was also Senior Director for the Research and Applications Division at The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Inc. (JCCBI) to contribute to the asset management strategy through lifecycle optimization of infrastructures. Sylvie is Advisor for Planifika since 2019.
